Our AVD-GA VCD's are made of 0.8mm Galvanized Frame with Aluminium Aero foil Blades. All quadrant and linkages are made of Galvanized Steel and have Nylon Bushing.

Low leage Dampers

Low Leakage Dampers are with Jamb and blade seals that can be made as galvanized, stainless (316) or aluminium.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION

FRAME:    22Ga. (0.8mm) galvanized steel.(up to 18 Ga 1.2mm)
BLADES:  Aluminum air foil with TPV blade seals and stainless steel jamb seals
BEARINGS: Non-metallic -Nylon
AXLES: 1/2 Sq zinc plated steel stud
LINKAGE: Concealed in frame 10 Ga. zinc plated steel
SHAFT: 2-1/2” Extended shaft Fixed 1/2 inch diameter zinc plated steel

Optional Materials:

Seals: Neoprene blade seals and/or Stainless steel jamb seals
Material: Aluminum or stainless steel
Bearings: Bronze bearings
Shaft: 1/2 dia. Shaft extending 7 1/2 inches beyond the air control frame. Requires 1” or 2” bearing bracket OR removable 8″ extended shaft.
